July 13th, Peg & I traveled to Keystone to learn the ins & outs of our new circulation system, along with the Schroeder Public Library staff.  July 15th, we launched the start of Atriuum in our library.  Atriuum is web based and we soon realized that our internet connection was intermittent - not a good mix with web based circulation systems.  We apologize to our patrons that patiently waited through this period and a big thank you to Coon Creek for solving the problem.

We are now ready for you, the patron, to be able to go online and view your account.  First, you will need to stop in and set up a password of no more than 16 digits.  It can be letters, lower case and upper case.  It can be numbers or characters.  We will enter it into your patron information and then you will be able to go online to your account.

What if you forget your password?  It is protected in your patron information, so that  even library staff can not access it.  You most likely will find that you will have to come in and create a new password.

We also will be asking you through the months of August, September and October to help us update your accounts.  Phone numbers have changed, children have grown and left the household, etc.

We allow accounts for youth who are at least 8 years old, but need parental permission to be signed at the time of the account start up.

When working with your account online, you may notice some new rules in place.  See the article on page 3 for an update
