TumbleBook Library is a new service provided by the Blairstown Public Library, with the help of the East Central Library Services.

TumbleBook Library is an online collection of TumbleBooks, animated, talking picture books which teach kids the joy of reading in a format they'll love.  TumbleBooks are created by adding animation, sound, music and narration to existing picture books in order to produce an electronic picture book which you can read, or have read to you.

A collection of licensed titles are available, which includes picture books, chapter books, non-fiction, and even puzzles and games.  There is a growing selection of Spanish, French, and bi-lingual titles.  The language drop-down menu allows users to view the entire website in Spanish or French.

From old time favorites such as "Jack and the Beanstalk" and "Old Mother Hubbard" to modern titles like "Diary of a Worm" and "How I Became a Pirate", there are so many great titles to choose from.

How do you access TumbleBooks?  Go to our web site: and click on useful links.  At the bottom of the list of links you will see TumbleBooks.  Go ahead and click on that link.  It will take you directly to the TumbleBooks site and you are automatically logged on.  Have fun!
